This product is a nucleic acid extraction kit for IVD that enables simple and effective DNA extraction from fungal species such as Aspergillus sp., Rhizopus sp., and Penicillium sp. in clinical blood samples (plasma, serum) of patients with suspected human fungal infections.
Specially formulated polymers are used which have high extraction efficiency from challenging fungal cell wall targets.
The extracted DNA can be used for PCR, qPCR, and sequencing as a follow-up experiment.
